The Advice of Receipt (AR) service provides mailers with the actual signature of the addressee. An Advice of Receipt card is purchased at the time of mailing. The addressee's signature is obtained on the AR card and then returned to the sender, thus providing the mailer with Delivery Confirmation.

The AR card is attached to the item, the signature is obtained from the addressee at the time of delivery and the card is returned to the mailer.

To international and U.S.A. destinations, AR can be used along with Registered Mail at time of mailing only for a cost of $1.60.
