This service is available to Public Libraries, University Libraries, and Libraries maintained by non profit organizations for use by the general public in Canada to mail library books to their Canadian patrons. This service is for books only and NOT tapes, videos or records.

The library must complete a "Library Books Application Form" and be authorized by Canada Post to use this service.

The maximum weight per shipment is 5 kg. The rates are based on a per item cost plus weight and destination. Postage paid by the library at the time of mailing covers both the outgoing and the return postage.
