Surcharge Details
Based on customer feedback Canada Post has developed a new framework for the application of mailing anomaly surcharges that is fair and consistently applied across the Direct Marketing and Transaction Mail services.

The Address Accuracy program is designed to encourage mailers to accurately address mail. Customers who utilize Addressed Admail must meet the Address Accuracy requirements for mailings of more than 5,000 Items. The National Presortation Schematic (NPS)
The National Presortation Schematic (NPS) is a set of tables that indicates how FSA's are consolidated through Canada Post's mail distribution network.

Various software packages are available to assist mailers in meeting any presortation requirements for Addressed Admail and mailers who utilize recognized presortation software may take advantage of presort incentive prices. A list of recognized presortation software is available at this link.
