Catalogue MailTM
- Pricing

Catalogue Mail has two distinct price points (Items from 500 g to 1.36 kg and Items over 1.36 kg).

Catalogue Mail Items weighing less than the base weight of 500 g will be the price of a 500 g Item.

There were price increases to Catalogue Mail effective January 14, 2008. See the Catalogue Mail 2008 Price Sheet for current prices.

The Catalogue Mail product line will be amalgamated into Addressed Admail effective January 12, 2009.  Click here for details.

Although Catalogue Mail has a minimum volume requirement of 2,500 Items per deposit, mailings of smaller volumes will be accepted provided that the difference between the actual volume and the minimum volume is entered and paid at the phantom price.

All prices are subject to any applicable discounts, fees, charges, surcharges and taxes.

Surcharge Details
Based on customer feedback, Canada Post has developed a new framework for the application of mailing anomaly surcharges that is fair and consistently applied across the Direct Marketing and Transaction Mail services. This document provides details in three sections:

  • an overview
  • changes to adjustments as they relate to the machine read rate acceptance level for incentive rate services where machine processing applies
  • details of the new surcharges price structure
