August highlights include:

• Incentive Lettermail - full mailing: EST will now identify when a better value option is available to customers with low volume Incentive Lettermail orders.
• Publications Mail: an increase in available lines from 18 to unlimited.

Desktop customers, as in the past customers have been assigned specific dates on which to receive the software upgrade. For best results during this time, we recommend you connect to the Canada Post server early in the day.  All customers will have received the updates by August 17th.

The Online enhancements will be in effect on August 3rd.

Stay Informed:

For users of Commercial Expedited Parcel–USA^TM (CEP–USA) – New!
As of October 24, 2008, you will be required to print the commercial invoice when shipping Commercial Expedited Parcel–USA items. The Electronic Shipping Tools will generate three copies of the commercial invoice; two copies must be inserted into the plastic pouch that is affixed to your item and the third copy is for your own records. The commercial invoice will be generated and printed when selecting the Print Customs Document checkbox located in the EST Desktop Shipping screen Ship To section and in the EST Online Step 3 Customs Information section.

Reminder... CEP-USA is only available to commercial customers who hold a Canada Post CEP-USA Agreement or a Domestic Parcel Services Agreement at the Small Business Rate (SBR) and who use an electronic shipping system to transmit Manifest and Customs information to Canada Post.

Important Information:
Complete and accurate address and customs information must be provided.  The information provided may be transmitted to or shared with domestic Customs Administrations and/or international Customs and Postal Administrations.  The use of the information will be restricted to facilitate customs formalities in respect of and delivery of postal items.
