Unaddressed AdmailTM
- Features and Options

Features (no fees apply)

  • Targeting Options
Choose your target audience: geographically, demographically by lifestyle, residential versus business or by part-of-week delivery.

Target neighbourhoods with specific lifestyle variables (MapInfo Canada - Compusearch Group's PSYTE Clusters) using our cutting-edge GeoPostTM Plus targeting tool.

  • Householder Counts
Access listing of houses, apartments, farms and businesses in each delivery area to help you determine how many Items you need to produce for your mailing.

  • Letter Carrier Walk Maps
Access actual Letter Carrier walks or routes.

  • Forward Sortation Area (FSA) Boundary Maps
An FSA is the first three characters of the postal code and these maps show you the geographic boundaries for each FSA. This information is a perfect fit if you want to determine sales territories, plan coverage for a direct mail campaign or study new locations for a retail store or business.

  • Consumers' Choice
Canada Post respects the wishes of consumers who indicate, through a self-produced note on their mailbox or mail receptacle, that they do not wish to receive unaddressed material. The only exemptions are materials from Elections Canada and Provincial Chief Electoral offices, House of Commons mailings, municipal electoral mailings, and community newspapers.

Options (fees apply)

  • Return to Sender
Any excess Items are returned to you, upon request, for a fee.

  • Transportation
If you wish to deposit your total mailing at a single outlet, Canada Post will transport these Items to the office of delivery, for a fee.

  • Parliamentary Unaddressed Admail
Parliamentary Unaddressed Admail may be used by members of the House of Commons to send free mailings to constituents up to four times each calendar year.
